Our boxes are hand made from exotic burl wood such as maple burl, buckeye burl and redwood burl.  Each burl is a diamond in the ruff.  You must cut it the right way to reveal the beauty inside every piece of wood.  Every box is different and unique revealing its own character.  Hand-picked for its extraordinary figure and size, the natural edges exhibit the beautiful texture of the wood found right beneath the bark.  Since each piece is made from a one of a kind burl, the pictures below are only representative of a similar size, shape and texture that you will receive.  Below are examples of boxes with and without a natural edge.
